Under Fives
HNCP Under 5’s Programme offers fun and educational family drop-in activities for under 5’s. HNCP believes it is every child’s right to have access to Stay and Play services, and so do our partners!
Please note that booking is required for the Under 5’s Songs and Stories sessions (Mondays and Fridays) via the website. All other Under 5’s sessions can be paid for on arrival.
Booking for each Songs and Stories session opens two weeks ahead of the session. Bookings are non-refundable unless cancelled 48 hours before the session. To cancel, email info@hncp.uk.org.

Church Cherubs
This session offers a variety of toys and soft play fun and concludes with singing, parachute fun and bubbles.

Kim’s Music Fun Time
Music and fun and a great place for babies and toddlers to socialise, make new friends and learn new skills through fun and play. Held in the warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the beautiful St Mary Brookfield Church. The singing circle encourages confidence building and language development.

We provide a relaxed and welcoming Saturday morning drop in session. Please feel free to come along and join us for a healthy snack, music time and bubbles. Also a great opportunity to meet other parents, carers and for the little ones to make new friends.
How Under-Fives Services Help Children
- Many young children have had little opportunity to interact with others of their age due to lockdowns. Healthy development is directly linked to children socialising and playing with others.
- Under-fives’ speech and language delay is a cause for concern. Drop-ins can provide effective stimulation for communication and language development.
- Drop-ins offer a gateway to other specialist services.
- Many families have no parents currently in work. Children under five are disproportionately affected by low incomes.

Every child deserves a chance in life. Early years are an absolutely critical time for child development.
By donating £20 a month, you can support one child’s free place at our under-fives sessions. This is invaluable for children who don’t otherwise have access to free play sessions, and will transform their future prospects.
