What's on Pilates
Anna Longmuir is an experienced Pilates instructor and the founder of Harmony Pilates, a local studio dedicated to providing high-quality Pilates instruction for all levels. With over 10 years of experience teaching in the area, Anna is known for her ability to create challenging yet accessible classes. She has a keen eye for detail and ensures each session flows seamlessly while staying engaging and fun.
Having trained in both Mat Pilates with Balanced Body and Reformer Pilates with Polestar, Anna brings a wealth of knowledge to her teaching. She has a particular interest in the benefits of exercise for women in menopause and those actively aging, and her classes are thoughtfully designed to meet these needs. Over the years, Anna’s teaching style has evolved to incorporate weights and resistance training, allowing her clients—whether young or “young at heart”—to see real, lasting results.
Her Pilates Sculpt classes are a unique offering at Harmony Pilates, blending the classical Pilates method with functional strength training for a full-body workout that emphasizes strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Each class is rooted in the Pilates principles of breath, concentration, control, centre, precision, and flow, ensuring that every movement contributes to building both physical strength and mindfulness.
Whether you’re new to Pilates or looking to deepen your practice, Harmony Pilates provides a supportive and dynamic environment where you can challenge yourself and achieve your fitness goals.
